Maintenance Trainer

The Maintenance Training System (150-MT) from Bayport Technical provides safe, hands-on lockout/tagout training for maintenance technicians. Learners will practice using non powered real industry equipment gaining experience with common maintenance lockout/tagout systems.

Learning Outcomes

Using this training system provides experience and builds confidence when performing lockout/tagout procedures. This unit covers the six basic steps:

• Preparation
• Shutdown
• Isolation
• Lockout/tagout
• Stored energy check
• Isolation verification to complete a proper lockout/tagout.

Maintenance Trainer Product Details

This unit is equipped with:

• A centrifugal pump with open impeller and cartridge type seal (non- powered)
• A coupled motor that is 3 HP, 240-V single phase 60 cycle, 1450 RPM, TEFC, 184T frame (non-powered)
• Thompson disc type coupling
• NEMA size 1 starter with control transformer, main breaker, overload heaters, start/stop switches, off/on

The Maintenance trainer’s components are mounted on metal table with casters. The non-moving parts are coated to prevent corrosion. The dimensions of this trainer are 34”W x 38”L x 42”H
