Hands-On Training for CTE Instructors

This summer, take advantage of hands-on instructor training courses for you in locations across the Midwest. Each course is focused on equipping you with the skills and tools to prepare the next generation of STEM and workforce talent.

Designed to be engaging, flexible, and practical, these trainings will help you confidently integrate cutting-edge technologies and industry-aligned curriculum into your CTE programs.

Industry 4.0 Fundamentals

Dates: June 23-25, 2026

Location: LAB Midwest (Mequon, WI)

This three-day training will prepare you with the tools and knowledge to teach Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing in the classroom.

What to expect at training: 

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Industry 4.0, including technologies, trends, and career pathways for students.
  • Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge training systems used in classrooms today.
  • Explore industry-recognized certifications and how they benefit students.

By the end of the training, you'll leave with a clear roadmap for integrating Industry 4.0 into your curriculum–covering classroom setup, curriculum mapping, funding strategies, industry partnerships, and more!

IGNITE Mastering Manufacturing: Courses 1 & 2

Dates: June 15-19, 2026

Location: LIFT (Detroit, MI)

This five-day training will prepare you to teach the IGNITE Courses 1 & 2, including hands-on training with the equipment and the online curriculum in the program. 

What to expect at training:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of advanced manufacturing today, the core technical skills needed for the workforce, and how it aligns to the multi-skilled technician and creates career pathways for students.
  • Get hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing training systems used in the program.
  • How to teach the Course(s), conduct assessments, incorporate industry-recognized certifications, and align skills to actual job tasks.

Industry 4.0 Fundamentals

Dates: July 28-30, 2026

Location: Bismarck State College (Bismarck, ND)

This three-day training will prepare you with the tools and knowledge to teach Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing in the classroom.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Industry 4.0, including technologies, trends, and career pathways for students.
  • Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge training systems used in classrooms today.

More Amatrol Training

Amatrol facilitates a variety of training sessions across the Midwest, focused on different topic areas throughout the summer. To prepare instructors to use hardware, software, and curriculum to teach their students, these sessions include hands-on instruction, course materials, an individualized consultation on course implementation, a facility tour, and a completion certificate with certified hours. Welding Training: Miller Instructor Conference

Dates: July 14th – July 16th, 2026

Location: Fox Valley Technical College (Appleton, WI)

Smart Automation Certification Alliance National Conference

Dates: August 10-11, 2026

(Optional SACA Gold Certification proctoring August 12-13)

Location: University of Wisconsin-Stout (Menomonee, WI)

 

What to expect at the conference:

  • Learn best practices for certification implementation from users nationwide
  • Specialized tracks for secondary, post-secondary and industry
  • Keynotes and fireside chats with Fortune 500 executives and education leaders
