Tabletop Mechatronics Smart Factory (87-TMS)by Amatrol is designed for teaching students the foundational technologies and concepts of Industry 4.0, including smart sensors and smart devices, networking and communications, and data analytics. This is a tabletop version of the full mechatronics system. This hands-on system and corresponding eLearning curriculum will upskill future and current workforce members to the cutting edge of manufacturing technology.
This five station system connects with Amatrol’s Portable PLC Troubleshooting Learning System – AB Compact Logix (990-PABCL1F), which shows performance analysis of the system via I/O Link. It can also be outfitted with a FANUC LR Mate industrial robot arm.
The Smart Factory Tabletop Mechatronics system simulates an Industry 4.0 manufacturing production process – the very same technologies that are transforming industry today. This system has 5 stations that connect to make a full mechatronics line, in addition to numerous accessory technologies that interact with the system. The system can be broken into individual stations for students to perform skills.

Performance analysis information includes transmitter pressure, photoeye signal strength, material type for parts passing through the system, RFID tag output, and more! This system uses a selection of Rockwell Automation products to provide the most realistic industrial experience. Amatrol is a Rockwell Automation OEM Gold Partner.

eLearning: All Amatrol training systems have interactive, multimedia eLearning courses and modules tied to these learning concepts. This curriculum utilizes text with voiceovers, pictures, videos, stunning 3D animations, interactive quizzes and knowledge checks, pre- and post-quizzes and more.
