Learning Outcomes
With only desk space for the 990-ACDC1 and a computer, anyone can attain a full array of AC/DC electrical training. The curriculum associated with this electrical trainer forms the base for areas such as electrical motor control, electro-fluid power, and programmable controllers, so a strong understanding of this subject is necessary for many professionals.
In this learning system, electrical topics covered include concepts like Ohm’s Law and Kichhoff’s Voltage Law and real-world components including switches, solenoids, and digital multimeters. Learners can then use this in-depth knowledge about electricity to complete skills such as operating a circuit using a circuit breaker, connecting and operating a relay in a circuit, and connecting and operating a basic lighting circuit.
Curriculum
eLearning: All Amatrol training systems have interactive, multimedia eLearning courses and modules tied to these learning concepts. This curriculum utilizes text with voiceovers, pictures, videos, stunning 3D animations, interactive quizzes, and knowledge checks, pre- and post-quizzes, and more. Through partnerships with key industry leaders and leading educators, Amatrol developed the right balance of knowledge to train learners to work in their chosen fields.
Student Reference Guides: A sample copy of the AC/DC Electrical Student Reference Guide is included with the learning system. Sourced from the curriculum, the Student Reference Guide takes the entire series’ technical content contained in the learning objectives and combines them into one perfectly bound book. You may also purchase as many additional SRGs as you need.
Virtual Trainer: The AC/DC Electrical Training System also features a virtual multi-media trainer! Amatrol’s virtual trainers replicate hands-on equipment in such great detail that learners will feel like they are using the actual equipment. Learners will perform essentially the same tasks using virtual trainers that they would perform using equipment hardware. The transition from theory to hands-on is a seamless process.
