The QArm from Quanser is a 4DOF robotic serial manipulator equipped with an RGBD camera and tendon-based two stage grippers. With its studio type course resources leaners will complete interactive challenges to understand the design of robotic systems, joint control, kinematics, path planning, statics, and dynamics.

The QArm has an RGBD camera, two finger gripper, Base with QFLEX 2 interface panel and 3 joints. This arm is equipped with expandable I/O for unlimited application and is compatible with a range of software environments and interface options. With the QArm learners can follow guided examples for python such as joint space navigation and task space navigation. There are also guided examples for ROS users including joint space pick and place, task space pick and place, ROS action server/client.
