The QArm by Quanser is a cutting-edge 4 DOF robotic serial manipulator, equipped with a two-stage tendon-based gripper and an RGBD camera, designed for both engineering education and academic research. Students engage with robotics concepts such as joint control, kinematics, path planning, statics, and dynamics through a suite of studio-type course resources. With the flexibility to use Python™, ROS, or MATLAB®/Simulink®, the QArm provides a systematic approach to understanding the design and operation of robotic systems, making it the perfect tool for hands-on learning and advanced research applications.
